Gold Coast – Day 2

Started off with a workshop tour at Dick Johnson Racing (Jim Beam Racing)

Then headed up the Q1 tower for an aerial view.

Oh what a feeling………Toyota!

What a day!! We travelled to the other side of Sydney this morning to attend the Hawkesbury Show, at which I was to take a ride with the Toyota V6 Hilux Heroes!

Now what it looks like from inside the car!

Here is an animation of the straight crossover. I won’t try & explain it – just watch! This was shot at 6.5 frames per second – that should give you an idea as to the actual speed that we were travelling.

Barry Sheene Festival of Speed, Eastern Creek Raceway – 11th & 12th April 2009

This annual event was held at the Eastern Creek Raceway over the Easter weekend.

Sydney Riders members Luke & Dimitri from Scott’s were both racing in the New Era & Pre Modern F3 class on 125’s – first time racing for either of them!
