Took another ride up north this morning.
When you go for your learners permit when learning to ride a motorcycle, the instructors cannot stress enough the importance of full protective equipment – helmet, gloves, jacket, boots & pants. Below is a shot I took this morning of someone who should know better. What can you say?
Also below was a vehicle spotted up at Pie in the Sky – not bad for a Ford!

After last weekends washout, UTS kicked off their 2008 campaign against Sydney Uni in Round 2 of the NSW Gridiron competition at Mascot Oval.
Unfortunately the result wasn’t what we would have liked, with UTS going down 41-0.

After a week of bad weather, there was a break in the clouds last Sunday so we went for a drive to the north.
Heading through Hornsby we turned off towards Galston, through the gorge & its notorious 5kph corners. Berowra Waters was the next pause, waiting for the ferry, then back through Berowra, along the Old Pacific Highway for a coffee & pie at Pie in the Sky. That coffee just didn’t hit the spot, but a stop at Road Warriors soon fixed that.
