Netrider ran a Learners Southern Loop ride today, starting from Loftus & finishing at Kirrawee – it worked out to 300km from the start of the ride to back in the garage at home.

Wednesday night was Game 1 of the 2008 State of Origin Series, played at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
This was the first State of Origin game that I had attended, & since NSW won 18-10 I’m guessing that I won’t be allowed to not attend until they lose!
While it was a good night, with plenty of big hits & runs, it still didn’t rate up there with the 2002 Grand Final between the Roosters & Warriors. The atmosphere at the Grand Final was absolutely electric, & I doubt that I’ll ever attend another match like it.

So, its off to Suncorp Stadium in 3 weeks for Game Two (this will be watched from the comfort at home), then we will be back to ANZ Stadium for Game Three on 2nd July – hopefully for a clean sweep!
Went into town tonight with other members of Sydney Riders, with the intention of putting together the shots required for my final assignment, & last step towards my Press Pass.
We started off around at Mrs Macquaries before being moved on……… only to get moved on again around at Blues Point. The price for being where you’re not supposed to be!
