Spent yesterday afternoon at the Sydney Cricket Ground watching the Sydney Swans deal to Port Adelaide. Fantastic day was complete with the Swans absolutely thrashing Port 22-14 (146) to 11-12 (78).
This leaves the Swans 5th on the ladder with 1 win & 1 loss.
Eastern Creek kicks off the Australian Superbike Championship with Practice yesterday, Qualifying today, & racing tomorrow.
Kevin Curtain (pictured below) had the 11th fastest time on his MV Augusta 312R.
The V8 Supercars returned to Eastern Creek yesterday, with 3 practice sessions. Qualifying & Race 1 on Saturday, & Races 2 & 3 on Sunday.
With the Australian Grand Prix taking place in Melbourne next weekend, keeping the panels straight will be a priority. The crews will be hoping for a busy week tweaking the cars, not a busy week repairing the cars.
