2007 Waratah Bowl – Sydney Uni Lions 34 def UTS Gators 28

The UTS Gators lost only their second game of the season – unfortunately this one did count.
Their last loss was back in Round 4 when the Lions came away 33-7 winners. The Lions didn’t have it all their own way this time, almost going into half time 21-0 down were it not for a rough call against the Gators. As the scoreboard tells the story, halftime read 14-7 to the Gators.
The Lions started the second half strongly, bringing up another touchdown with their first possession – only 6 points as the PAT was unsuccessful.
Well thats it until next season for the 1st Division team. Colts (under 18s) will be underway in the New Year.
